VILNIUS, Jun 22, BNS – Former Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite has accepted an invitation to join the World Leadership Alliance - Club de Madrid, the presidential office said on Monday.

"This invitation is on behalf of more than 100 democratic former heads of state and government. They are united by democratic leadership and the need to share personal and collective insights and experience with incumbent state leaders and decision-makers," the statement reads.

Ex-Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus, former US President Bill Clinton, former Latvian President Vaira Vyke-Freiberga and other former presidents and prime ministers are members of the club.
