VILNIUS, Jun 19, BNS -  The Health Ministry released on Friday an updated list of 28 coronavirus-safe countries whose citizens and residents can travel to Lithuania without any restrictions. 

The list is unchanged from the one published on Wednesday. 

The ban for citizens and legal residents of Sweden, Portugal and the United Kingdom to enter Lithuania will remain in place on June 22-28.  

The regime applies to foreign nationals from the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. 

Lithuanian citizens can travel to Lithuania from anywhere in the world.

Isolation is optional yet recommended for those returning or arriving from countries with over 25 new cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 people over the past 14 days.

People displaying symptoms, such as cough, sneezing and difficulty breathing, are subject to mandatory isolation.

The 28 coronavirus safe countries are as follows: Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Malta, Denmark, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Iceland, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Latvia, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia and Liechtenstein.
